Mark the date to attend this most important of Remembrance Day services. Originally known as Armistice Day, Remembrance Day 2018 commemorates the signing of the peace agreement which ended World War 1 at 11am on 11 November 1918. It honours the memory of all those who have died, or suffered for Australia’s cause, in all wars and armed conflicts.
If marching, assemble on the oval near the fire shed at 10.15am. All Welcome. The march will be led by 1st Australian Light Horse Troop – Graham Brown, Silas Sonter and Neil Hughes – and will include a WWI cart from the front line. The march will finish at the War Memorial in Exeter Park for the start of the service from 10:45am.
