The annual Exeter Village Association Australia Day breakfast is on again in 2019 on Saturday, 26th January. Starting at 8am, come along to the Village Hall to meet fellow residents, families and friends and enjoy a hearty BBQ breakfast of eggs, sausages, tomatoes and more. Adults $10. Children Free. Christmas Lessons & Carols 23rd Dec
Christmas lessons interspersed with carols will be held at St Aidan’s Church at 9:30am 23rd December.
Traditionally, the festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a service celebrating the birth of Jesus. It tells of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and His birth in nine short readings from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of carols and choir music.
Family Carols @ Exeter 6pm 24th Dec
Families and visitors are all welcome to Exeter’s annual family Christmas Carols held on the lawn surrounding St Aidan’s Church. There’s plenty of room for all and the free sausage sizzle starts from 6pm, 24th December. Bring a rug, picnic chair and your voice to enjoy this family event.
Santa in the FireTruck Exeter Run 12th Dec
Santa will be driving around Exeter in his big red sleigh from 5.30pm 12th December. He’ll be leaving the Rural Fire Service Station at 5.30pm and do the loop around Exeter finishing at the Oval playground at 6.30pm.
