Exeter Remembrance Day 11th Nov 2018

Exeter Village hosted a moving and memorable Remembrance Day service for 125+ members of the public on Sunday, 11th November 2018. Many locals contributed their time, effort and items to this event, including Captain Graham Brown, Silas Sonter, Neil Hughes, Richard Irvine and Scott Catford of the 1st Australian Light Horse. The service comprised a prayer of remembrance by Rev Robert Meischke of St Aidan’s, a reading of ‘In Flanders Fields’ by students of Exeter public school, and the playing of the last post and reveille by bugler Robert George.
