Review of Remembrance Day 11th Nov 2019

A moving and memorable Remembrance Day service saw all students, teachers and staff of Exeter Primary School attend with their Principal, Andrew Barnes, plus many residents of Exeter and visitors to the area. Many locals contributed their time, effort and items to this event, including Captain Graham Brown, Silas Sonter, Neil Hughes, of the 21st Australian Light Horse. The service comprised prayers led by Rev Robert Meischke of St Aidan’s, a reading of ‘In Flanders Fields’ by students of Exeter public school, a hymn led by Angela Williamson and the playing of the last post and reveille by bugler ¬†William Lamrock-George. A student of Exeter Public raised and lowered the flag. The full service address given by Craig Johnson of Exeter General Store can be found here remembrance day speech 2019
