The Vicar of Dibley stage play was created originally for Comic Relief in the UK. To honour that intent, the Highlands Theatre Group has chosen to support the Red Cross in Australia by donating its ticket sales from the matinee performance of The Vicar of Dibley on the afternoon of 13th May. Partnering with local volunteers, the Red Cross of Australia seeks to bring relief in times of crisis and care where it’s most needed.  In order to help bring relief to local people, the Highlands Theatre Group had hoped to host an afternoon tea for a small fee to further raise funds, but found that we could not realistically do this once we got into the throws of production.
